He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Ramsey Wilde and Abner Wilde; his brothers, William Wilde (Jeanette) and Richard Wilde (Shirley); his great grandchild John Thomas Cavote; his wife Barbara Wilde; his children, Sonya Moody (Jerry), Kimberly Wilde and Brian Wilde (Ramsey); his stepdaughters, Tina Clark (Harold) and Tammy Rice; his brothers, Charles Wilde and Gerald Wilde (Darla); his grandchildren, Nichole Cavote (Jon), Nathan Adair, Paul Wilde, Brian Wilde, Hailey Hensley, Heather Hensley, Silas Wilde, Finley Wilde, Hollyn Wilde, Brittany Roberts, Caleb Clark, Joshua Clark and Matthew Clark; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Cavote, Gavin Cavote, Austin Bronson, Tyler Cavote, Briella Cavote, Carolyn Adair and Brylan Shelton; and his great great grandchild Link Bronson. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
