She was predeceased by: her husband Edd; her parents, Jeter Messer and Bertie Messer; and her siblings, Emma Lee Latham, Clay, Theodore, Garrison and Steve.
She is survived by: her children, Roger of Greeneville, TN, Richard (Lisa) of Bean Station, TN and Shirley Hyatt (LaMarr) of Weaverville; her brother David Messer (Louise); her sister-in-law Ann Reece; and also, Lindsey Kerns (Brandon Church), Britt Reece (Hayley), Ryan Reece (Casey), LaReese Hensley (Bobby), Chaynna Metcalf (Matt Robinson), Chayse, Zephaniah, Zoi Hyatt, Allison Coffey (Jonathan), Harry, Carolyn Rice, Chris Worley, Steven, Melissa, Ava Clark, David, Angie, Noah Allison and Lane Price.
