She is survived by: her children, Michelle Shook and Mark Anthony Shook, Sr. (Teleda Waldrop); her sister Jean Anderson; her grandchildren, Nicole Tomyn (Daniel) and Farrah Banks; and her close friend Kathleen Coates. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
