She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Jessie and Arthie Norton; her husband Jessie Carson Cutshaw; her son Boyd Cutshaw; and her siblings, Ida Cutshall, Josephine Riddle and Gene Metcalf.
She is survived by: her children, Eva Wyatt (Mike) and Jesse Dwight "JD" Cutshaw (Bonnie); her siblings, Mary Lou Shelton (Clifton), Robbie Shelton, Mazester Brooks, Amos Norton and Andy Norton (Iva); her grandchildren, Shaun Cutshaw, Matthew Norton, Jessica Cutshaw, Kandace Zulak (Adam) and Brittney Cutshaw; and her great grandchildren, Jaylan, Eli, Gracie, Isabella, Rylan and Carson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Spilcorn Church of God (525 Bakers Crk Rd, Marshall, NC 28753). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at the Norton Cemetery.
