We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2024, at the age of 74, Katherine Willis of Marshall, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jospeh Glen and Helen Worley Buckner; her husbands, Lane Metcalf and Rick Willis; and her brother Roger Glen Buckner.

She is survived by: her siblings, Diane Ballard (Wayne) and Danny R. Buckner (Joyce); and her nieces and nephews, Marcy Sexton (Andy), Jason Buckner (Michelle), Forrest Buckner, Aaron Buckner, Timothy Ballard (Amy) and Jeremy Ballard (Bonnie). She is also survived by mother to her nieces and nephews.
