It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joni Lynn Sharp of Marshall, North Carolina, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Charlie and Rellie Carver; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Buckner. She is survived by: her husband James Clifford Sharp; her children, Sarah Buckner (Darren), Jackie Moody (Kaz), Skylar Sharp and James Sharp; her grandson Blake Buckner; her mother Loretta McDonald Phillips; her sister Bobbie Jean Malone; her aunts and uncles, Wanda Gasperson, Betty Meadows, Otis and Hannibal Carver; her parents-in-law, Michael and Teresa Warren; and her siblings-in-law, Timothy Sharp, Lucetta Ramsey and Belinda McElreath. She is also survived by four children.
