He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Edward Hampton, Sr. and Margie Alice Webb Hampton; and his son Timothy Hampton. He is survived by: his wife Helen K. Hampton; his children, Kimberly Dillard (Kenny) of Waynesville, Deborah Baldridge (Herman) of Valdese, Rebecca Shelton (Scott) of Marshall and Jesse Hampton, III (Patricia) of Waynesville; and his siblings, Arlene Morales (Simon) and Gregory Hampton (Paula) of Texas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
