We bid farewell to Jerry Anderson of Marshall, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 4, 2025 at the age of 78. Jerry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jerry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ogden Anderson and Ethel Price Anderson; and his siblings, Emma Worley and Wade Anderson. He is survived by: his siblings, Ray Anderson (Jessie), Reba Smith, Peggy Hubbard (Randy) and Ruth Ann Rice. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crooked Ridge Cemetery.
