It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Lewis Tweed (Marshall, North Carolina), who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lewis and Flora Mae Rice Lewis; her former husband Dwight Tweed; her brothers, Boyd, Raymond and Jeter Lewis; her niece Kathleen Miracle; her great-nephew Scott Miracle; her sisters-in-law, Alma Brackins, Jerlene Lewis, Josie Lewis and Mary Jean Lewis; her great-niece Josie Lewis Bradley; and her nephews, Ray Lewis (Roberta), John Lewis (Dianne), Gilbert Lewis and Raymond Lewis MacKenzie (Allison).
She is survived by: her husband Jack Williams; her stepson Greg Williams; her niece Darlene DeFoor (John); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jessica Lewis Harwood (Daniel), Julia DeFoor Reynolds (T. J.), Kimberly Panek (Rich), Amanda Lewis, Lynette Bejma (Jeff), Kel-Erin Lewis, Megan Goforth, Joey Lewis (Jennifer), Matthew DeFoor, Matthew Lewis (Jen), Brian Miracle and Robert Bradley; her sister Christine Lewis Tackett; and also, Phillip, Trey, Preslea, Lainy, Alaina, Jase, Jessa, Jagger, Aiyana, Lily, Lydia, Emma, Ava and Mae. She is also survived by many cousins and a special cousin.
