He was predeceased by: his parents, Randell Ellis Jones and Martha Lancaster Jones; and his brother James Ellis Jones. He is survived by: his wife Debra Jones; his children, Jennie, Timmy Jones, Amanda Dawn McClellan (Lauren) of Knoxville, TN and Matthew Alan McClellan (Katie) of Sweetwater, TN; and his siblings, Sandra Emory and Roger Jones of Rockford, IL. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the North Point Baptist Church (119 Monticello Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787).
