Harold Waldrop Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Waldrop of Marshall, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 1, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Harold had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Harold may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Waldrop (Sambo) and Allie Elizabeth Ball Waldrop; his brother Ray Waldrop; his parents-in-law, Ted Floyd Payne and Evelyn Ballew Payne; and his brother-in-law Ted Floyd Payne Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Tula Payne Waldrop; his aunt Maude Waldrop of Marshall, NC; and his extended family, Stacey, Samantha, Jackie and Judy Ball. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brother-in-law.

A burial will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ball Cemetery (3534 Baileys Branch Rd, Marshall, NC 28753).
