He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sandlin Houston; his children, Randy Houston of Arden, Penny Rice Bullman (Harvey) of Weaverville and Lynn Dymora (Eddie) of Valdese; his grandchildren, Aaron Rice (Micah), Natalie Rice, Adam Dymora, Sarah Houston and Kate Dymora; his great grandchildren, Cole Dymora, Barrett Dymora and Luke Dymora; and his sister Mary Ellen Henderson of Dawsonville, GA..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Madison Funeral Services (1750 NC-213, Marshall, NC 28753). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
