He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Shelton and Nellie Hensley Shelton; his siblings, Greenelee Shelton, Richard Shelton, Lester Shelton, Bluferd Shelton, Edd Shelton, Fred Shelton, Barnabas Shelton, Dennis Shelton, Crate Shelton, Wadie French (Shelton), Zelois Hensley (Shelton) and Louise Atkinson (Shelton); and his siblings-in-law, Lark Hensley, Grady French, Dale Atkinson, Winnie Shelton, Velma Shelton, Faye Shelton, Frances Shelton, Hazel Shelton, Zettie Shelton and Mary Lou Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sperduti Shelton; his children, Christa Shelton Pitts, Sarah Dietle (John Mark), Michael Shelton (Sherry) and Anthony Hildreth (Ashley); his granddaughters, Brittany "Frog" LeBlanc and Samantha Stuntz; his brothers, Arlin Shelton (Margaret) and Clifford Shelton (Mary); his sister-in-law Rosella Shelton; and his close friend Tony Fodera. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
