He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow "Chuck" and Mable Chandler Griffin; and his sisters, Edna Mae Griffin, Anna Mae Howell and Rosa Lee Ramsey.
He is survived by: his sisters, Faye Chandler and Violet Randall (Carroll). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
