She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Ray; her parents, Roy Stanberry and Zora Hawkins Stanberry; and her siblings, Fred Stanberry, Frank Stanberry and Frances Stanberry Robinson.
She is survived by: her brother Freelon Stanberry of Houston; her children, Judy Ray Edwards and Fred Ray, Jr.; her wife Kathy of Weaverville, NC; and also, Myrtle, Stanley Ray of Marshall, NC and Tommy Ray (Chris) of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
