He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Clyde and Catherine Reid Denton; and his brother Joe Denton. He is survived by: his wife Sherlena White Denton; his children, Tammy Carpenter (Tad), Melissa Ouchoa (Eluide), Donnie Denton and Daniel Banner (Brianna); his siblings, Helen Proffitt, Wayne and David Denton; and his grandchildren, Alicia Sprouse, Olivia Carpenter, Melquezidec Ouchoa, Aaron Banner, Maverick Gillespie, Chevelle and Daniel Banner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
