He is survived by: his wife Shirl Walton Thompson; his sons, Michael (Lorie) and Louis Thompson; his stepson Jonathan Greene (Amanda); his grandchildren, Gentry, Whitney, Bailey, Dalton Thompson and Annsley Greene; his close friend Lawson; and his pets, Bug and Benji.
