He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Marie Fields of Weaverville, NC, Sammie Jane Friday of Weaverville, NC, Martha Ellen Steele of Weaverville, NC and Katherine Dawn Steele of Swannanoa, NC; his sister Lucille Steele Campbell of Rock Hill; and his friends, Evelyn Rayfield and Bill Redick. He is also survived by four granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; two great-grandsons.
