He is survived by: his wife Shirley Norton; his children, Wanda Gantt and Clifton "Bubba" Norton Jr. (Marie Roberts); his grandchildren, Victoria Cross (David), Chelsey Norton (Luis Maldonado), Justin Gantt (Kaitlin), Shana Phillips (Brandon), Brittney Thomas (Nathan Nash) and Madison Thomas; his great grandchildren, Payton (Gracie), Alora, Addison, Brooklynn, Jace, Jazlyn, Grayson, Joelynn, Hunter and Paislee; his niece Jolie; his nephew Derick "Bones" Miller; and also Lynn Ramsey.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Madison Funeral Services (1750 NC-213, Marshall, NC 28753). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
