With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Garrison Messer of Marshall, North Carolina, who passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Garrison Messer and Alma Messer; and his in-laws, Theron June and Alloween Worley. He is survived by: his wife Una Worley Messer; his sisters, Diane Hyder (Jack), Donna Massey (Don) and Marsha Bass (Kenneth); his nieces and nephews, Tammy Garrett (Dalton), Tiffany Messer-Bass (late Aaron), Kari Worley Norton (Jason), Sabrina Worley Silver (Justin), Shane Massey (Amy) and Christopher Massey (Leah); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Grace Massey Vigh (Josh), Ella, Emma Massey, Kaylee, Kaitlyn Norton, Dove Silver, Zachary Poole, Trent Garrett, Garrison Massey, Cash, Jett, Otto and Rush Silver; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Taylor and Patty Worley (late Rex).
