It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Fred Walker of Marshall, North Carolina, born in Madison, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Franklin and Ollie Buckner Walker; his siblings, Velma Reems, Faye Scott, Edna Scott and Ralph Walker; his daughter Nancy Cody; and his grandson Travis Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Blanch Treadway Walker; his children, Brenda Rathbone (Rick), Steve Walker (Renée) and Joe Walker (Doris); and his grandchildren, Kaylyn Chandler, Crystal Walker, Stephanie Walker, Christian Walker, Jennifer Gentry, Andy Cody and Curtis Cody. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
