He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Reeves, Sr. and Viola Redmon Reeves of Marshall. He is survived by: his brother Rayburn; his children, Glenna and David; his grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, Nathan, Ian and Morgan; and his great grandchild Zayne.
Although he took thousands of pictures of flowers at Biltmore Gardens, and grew many of his own, he would prefer, in lieu of sending flowers, that donations be made to the Yancey Humane Society in honor of how he enjoyed his pets, or, Valor Hospice at the VA Hospital, to thank them for the superb care they gave him.
