It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bonnie Mae Boone Gosnell (Marshall, North Carolina), who passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Boone and Lewis Boone; and her siblings, Bertie Sams, Beulah Brown, Jack Boone, Ernest Boone and Bruce Boone.
She is survived by: her significant other Everett Robert Gosnell; her daughters, Hilda Caldwell (Jerry) of Asheville and Loretta Freeman (David) of Mars Hill; her grandchildren, Chris Caldwell (Meagan), Stephanie Cochran of Asheville and Erin Branham (Brad) of Huntersville; her great grandchildren, Johnathan, Emily Ann, Harrison Caldwell, Ellie and Ben Cochran; and her siblings, Bethel Ammons of Weaverville, Birma Sawyer of Swannanoa and Wayne Boone of Marshall. She is also survived by six nieces, and fourteen nephews.
Because of the NC COVID-19 guidelines for Phase 2, there will not be a visitation before or after the service, but family and friends can view the body from 9:30-10:00.
