He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Raby and Inez Taylor Raby; his son Douglas Hurst; and his siblings, Peggy Rice, Joel and Hubert Raby.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Riddle Raby; his children, Pamela Dailey and Kevin Raby; his brother Yuel "Red" Raby (Roberta); his sister-in-law Diane Raby; his grandchildren, Heather (Tim), Haley (Will), Hope (Kas) and Heath; and his great grandchildren, Kayden, Grayson, Teagan, Colton, Joshlyn and Layton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
