The memory of Bobby Hicks of Marshall, North Carolina, born in Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 16, 2024 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Bobby may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bobby touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hicks and Buenah Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Catherine B. Hicks; his children, Rick Sutton, Tammie Hobby (Jay), Tim Lindsay (Connie), Melissa Holland (Andy) and Joey Hicks (Wendy Waites); and his pets, Isaac, Jasper and Patch. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
