She was predeceased by: her parents, Denver Capps and Dollie Marlor Capps; her husband Richard Baxter Wilson; and her sister Marie Capps. She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Johnson (Brad), Jolena Hensley (Bruce), Sheila Craig (Randy Collins) and Donna Burnette (Jerry); and her siblings, Georgia Sluder, Ruth Reed, Ella Mae Sawyer, Nellie Helton and James Capps. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the French Broad Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (144 Curtis Miles Rd, Alexander, NC 28701).
