It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Altha Estella Cooper Ball of Marshall, North Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Cooper and Bessie Cooper; her husband Richard Jackson Ball, Sr.; and her siblings, James, Bob, Harold Cooper, Pauline Marlor and Ollie Vaughn.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Jackson Ball, Jr. (Judy), Danny Ball (Brenda) and Sandra Lewis (Rickey); her grandchildren, Stacey Ball (Samantha), Jason Ball (Karla), Jonathan Lewis (Lesley), Michael Lewis (Karlyn), Misty Wyatt (Steven), Christy Bowens (Bruce) and Zach Ball (Natasha); her great grandchildren, Tyler Ball (Cheyenne), Dylan Lewis, Trever Bowens, Austin Bowens (Carrie), Dakota Ball, Elijah Ball, Logan Lewis, Chloe Wyatt, Colby Wyatt, Ryan Lewis, Emmalynn Bowens and Jacob Lewis; her great great grandchild Adeline Grace Ball; and her close friends, Carol Roberts and Virginia Coates. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Madison Funeral Services (1750 NC-213, Marshall, NC 28753). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
