Though Willie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Willie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Ramsey and Eunice Carver Ramsey; her brother Calvin Ramsey; and her niece Lisa Marshall. She is survived by: her siblings, Shelby Jean Ramsey Metcalf and Harlon Ramsey (Jeraldine); and her nieces and nephews, Michael Metcalf, Jeremy, Jason, Josh Ramsey and Christy McGhee.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
