It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Boone (Mars Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on October 7, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Paul Zade; her husband Lester Lee Boone; her daughter Katrina Boone; her granddaughter Lauren Boone; and her sister Joyce Metcalf.
She is survived by: her parent Esta Lee Ammons Metcalf; her daughter Denise Griffin (Marvin); her sisters, Louise Elkins and Jeanette Gwinup; her grandchildren, J. J. Boyd (Kim), Jasmin Griffin and Shawna Phillips; and her great grandchildren, Laney Mulley, Faith Wood and Jase Buckner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
