He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Young; and his stepmother Betty Young. He is survived by: his mother Cora Hennessee of Bailey, NC; his girlfriend Melody Buckner; his daughters, Kierra Ripley and Miah Ripley; his stepchildren, Tyler and Jayden Buckner; his siblings, Angela, Lakeshia Ripley and Anthony "Amp" Ripley; and his aunt Flora Lee Burnette. He is also survived by five nieces, eight nephews, four great nieces, eight great nephews and many special cousins.
