She was predeceased by: her father Hugo Sherman. She is survived by: her mother Blanche Bridges Sherman; her daughters, Michelle Lutes and Tammy Griffin (Chad); her brothers, Tommy, Terry, Jeffrey and Billy Joe Sherman; her grandchildren, Justin Crain (Morgan), Mitch Griffin (Summer), Austin and Katlyn Wiliams; and her great grandchildren, Laynie, Emerie Crain, Titus and Lindee Griffin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Roberts Cemetery.
