He is survived by: his mother Carol Byrne Andres (Jim); his wife Kathy Dodd Smith; his daughters, Carol Jean Smith and Sarah Ann Smith; his sister Molly Smith; his stepsiblings, Sue Bednarz, Michael, John, Richard and Robert Andres; his father-in-law Forrest Dodd; his brothers-in-law, Jimm and Rickey Dodd; and his aunt Catherine Fitzgerald. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
