He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Gardner; his sister Donna Shelton; and his niece Meagan Ann Gardner. He is survived by: his mother Frances Rice Gardner; his wife Sharon Wallace Gardner; his son Colton Gardner (Savannah Chandler); his siblings, Michelle Lunsford (Boyce), June Elaine Shelton (Phil) and Clyde Gardner, Jr. (Shelly); his grandson River Gardner; his nieces and nephews, David Shelton (Callie), Jesse Shelton (Crystal), Kristi Gentry (Brandon), Lechelle Worley, Haley Young (Matthew), Sabrina Lunsford, Farrel Gardner, Kyle Gardner (Josie), Brittany McCool (Brody), Robert Gardner and Rebecca Shelton; and also Sam Adams. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends and coworkers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
