She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Riddle and Chloe Rogers Riddle; her husband Homer Junior Buckner; and her son Homer Wayne Buckner, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Buckner (Wesley Rivers) of Mars Hill and Dennis Buckner (Kim) of Weaverville; her sisters, Shirley Davis of Virginia, Joan Raby, Libby Gutherie of Weaverville, Barbara Riddle of Mars Hill, June Medford of Georgia and Kathy Gosnell of Asheville; her grandchildren, Marshall Davis (Dawn) of Mars Hill and Kristy Buckner (Jake Bryant) of Burnsville; and her great grandchildren, Dakota Davis (Christina) of Mars Hill and Eli Sims of Burnsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
