He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Bryan Honeycutt and Clay Honeycutt; his stepmother Vertie Shook Honeycutt; and his brother James Honeycutt of Madison County. He is survived by: his wife Betty W. Honeycutt; his children, Jenny and Jonathan Honeycutt (Meggie); his grandchildren, Grace and Andrew Honeycutt; and his sister Naomi Honeycutt Willis (Ophard).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Upper Laurel Baptist Church (9940 US Hwy 23 S, Gate City, VA 24251). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at the Lower English Cemetery (430 English Cemetery Dr, Mars Hill, NC 28754).
