She was predeceased by: her parents, Brank Ray Proffitt and Bessie Arrington Proffitt; her husband Bruce Owen "Jim" Ammons; her daughter Georgia "Leigh" Ellison; her son-in-law Terry Waldrop; her brothers, Harvey and Harlan Proffitt; her sister-in-law Hazel Proffitt; and her grandson Cody McElroy.
She is survived by: her children, Teleda Waldrop (Mark Shook), Teresa Worley (Harold), Jimmy Ammons (Beth) and Jeffrey Ammons (April); her sister-in-law Mabel Proffitt; and her grandchildren, Amanda Coffey (Charles), Hannah, Kyle (Nathan), Tanner Ellison (Molly), Jason (Krystal), Patrick (Haley), Adam Worley (Lauren), Chase, Cade (JoAnn), Madison, Ireland Ammons, Caleb (Rachel), Gabriel Waldrop, Baliey (Darryl), Alexis Ammons (Kevin), Kristen Gilliam (Jason) and Brandon Ellison (Meagan). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
