It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Naomi Sams (Mars Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on March 11, 2018, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent James Sprinkle; and her sisters, Patricia Johnston, Lois Hensley and Jamie Lou Partenheimer. She is survived by: her parent Margaret Edwards Sprinkle; her children, Kristeen Sams (Rich) and Ted Sams (Julie); her siblings, Lula Belle Berry, Willie Jo Wilde, Sarah Faye Ledbetter, Merritt Sprinkle and Jimmy Sprinkle; and her grandchildren, Callie Mae, Tyson Mae, Turner Mae and Addie Mae. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
