With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucas Carlos Alexander Yeakley (Mars Hill, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2025 at the age of 20. He is survived by: his sisters, Quinn Yeakley of Marshall, NC and Ruth Farrington of Sacramento, CA; his parents, Matt Yeakley and Morgen Yeakley of Marshall, NC; and his grandparents, John Gebhards, Diana Krattuer of Newburgh, NY, Jim, Sharon Yeakley of Anthem, AZ, Maggie and Chuck Roedema of South Port, NC..
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A reception was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
