He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Burrell and Alpha Mae Norton Burrell; his granddaughter Courtney Burrell; and his brother Willard Burrell. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Johnson Burrell; his children, Katrina Burrell and Christopher Burrell (Becky); his sisters, Gladys Arrington of Burnsville and Carolyn Penland of Burnsville; his grandchildren, Natasha, Chelsey, Serenity, Greyson, Kody and Matt; and his great grandchildren, Jesse, Tori, Dakota, Bentley and Braxton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
