He was predeceased by: his parents, Coleman Caldwell and Pearl Caldwell; his stepson James Griffin; and his siblings, Patricia Gahagan and Thomas Coleman Caldwell.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Griffin Caldwell; his stepson Donald Griffin (Doris); and his siblings, Betty Ann Bearse, Bob, Butch and Bill Caldwell. He is also survived by four granddaughters; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
