With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Daniel Carver (Mars Hill, North Carolina), born in Madison, North Carolina, who passed away on July 1, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Claude Carver and Dolly Shook Carver; and his siblings, Hoy Carver, Neal Carver, Dewey Carver, Flo Arrington, Landon Carver and Glenna Mace.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa Lyn Carver; his children, Teresa Bryson, Darlene Cullins (Clarence), Tonya McNalley, Gregory, David, Hoy, Scotty (Shawna), Jacob (Taylor) and Benjamin Carver; his siblings, Wilma Orr, Ronnie Carver (Deedee), Francis Elaine Bradley (Roger) and Leroy Dewayne Carver (Judy); and his close friend Edward Rader. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
