He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleophas Clay and Ethel Gosnell Talton; his daughter Crystal Talton; his grandson Joseph Middleton; and his brothers, Donnie, Roger, Verlin, Billy and Alvin Talton.
He is survived by: his son Excavating; his wife Gay Shelton Talton; his children, Emma Middleton (Doug), Sarah Talton, Parris Cairnes, Daryl Talton (Amanda), Jackie Talton (Sarah) and Cley Talton (Holly); his siblings, Linda Kay Wallin, Virginia Talton, Darlene Talton, Joe and Jerry Talton; his grandchildren, Jacob, Jared, Michaela Middleton, Zach, Josh, Kimberly, Cheyenne, Gabriel, Gracious, Makenzie, Lily, Olivia Talton, Makenzie M and Jayden M; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Jayla, Taidan, Barret, Remy and Maverick.
