It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen DeBruhl (Mars Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on October 17, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bascombe Honeycutt and Carrie Crain Honeycutt; her husband Porter Fisher DeBruhl; and her siblings, Howard Honeycutt, Faye Arrington and Frances Ponder.
She is survived by: her sons, David (Karen DeBruhl), Michael (Kay DeBruhl), Bobby (Debra DeBruhl) and Mark (Sonya DeBruhl); and her grandchildren, Amy DeBruhl Harrill, Brian DeBruhl, Kayla DeBruhl Avalos, Justin DeBruhl, Robert DeBruhl, Micah DeBruhl, Tyler DeBruhl and Caleb DeBruhl. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
