She was predeceased by: her husband Attley Edwards; her parents, Douglas H. of Mars Hill and Minnie Clark Rice of Mars Hill; and her sisters, Gypsy Rice and Rosie Ball.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara George of Apex, NC; her wife Judy of Myrtle Beach, SC; and her children, Sherrie Minkin (Mark) of Woodfin, Johnny Edwards and Jeff Edwards (Donna) of Weaverville, N. C.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
