He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Oscar and Pansy Mae Briggs Young; his wife Alda Jean Clark Young; and his siblings, Madeline Fleetwood, Elouise Plemmons Armstrong, Roy, Kenneth, John, Clarence and Eugene Young.
He is survived by: his children, Tammie Young and Eugene Young (Karen Brown); and his grandchildren, Lou and Jesse Young. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
