He is survived by: his wife Nora Sue Flanery Tomberlin; his children, Dean Tomberlin (Renee) of Burnsville, Bill Tomberlin (Sherrie) of Asheville, Sue Parrett (Christopher) of Rigby, Idaho, Cindy Whitt of Mars Hill, Tom Tomberlin (Meredith) of Apex, Ross Tomberlin (Michaela) of Anderson, SC, Chris Cutshall (Ronnie) of Mars Hill, Jon Tomberlin (Kahea) of Suwanee, GA and Heidi Allison (Shane) of Marshall; and his sister Sharon Jackson (Roger) of Drexel. He is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
