He was predeceased by: his parents, William Daniel and Omah Waldroup Cogdill; and his siblings, Phil, Burton Cogdill, Ellen Cogdill, Barbara Wood and Faye Bunk.

He is survived by: his sister Opal Waldroup. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.

Services will be announced at a later date due to COVID-19.
