He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank O'Neal and Grace Harwood Ball; and his brothers, Eugene O'Neal and Richard Lee Ball. He is survived by: his children, Brandy Duffy, Brandon Ball and Derek "Buck" Ball, Jr.; his brothers, Frankie "Pete" Ball and David Ball; his grandchildren, Derek "Fox" John Ball III, Baker Duffy, Trenton Ball and Aubrie Ball; and his pet Doodle.
