She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert James and Margaret Evelyn Sweeney Smith; and her siblings, Earl and Margaret Smith. She is survived by: her son David DeWayne Gross (Donna) of Leicester; her grandchildren, Jesse Gross (Natalie) of Canton, Jamie Gross of Leicester, Jacob Gross of Asheville, Joey Gross and Taryn Rickey of Asheville; her great grandchildren, Jayden Gross of Leicester and Liam Gross of Canton; and her friend Evelyn Meadows of Asheville.
