He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Metcalf and Donna Metcalf of Flag Pond; and also Vaugn Metcalf of Denbigh, Virginia.. He is survived by: his wife Shelby Ramsey Metcalf; his son Michael Metcalf (Lisa); and his sisters, Edna Shook (Vernon) of Barnardsville and Gwen Hensley (Junior) of Flag Pond, TN. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
